Demolition of 400 LF concrete locomotive inspection pit. Subgrade was over-excavated and base rock installed to meet compaction requirements.
New concrete locomotive inspection pipe was built in the same area to meet the updated standards of the railroad. Concrete crossing panels were installed at each end of the inspection pit with a rail guard system to ensure a smooth walking surface on the entire platform.
All new pit and platform lighting was installed.
