Safety

Safety is more than a priority for Coleman. It is a core value, fundamental to our culture. Every year, all employees are brought to our home office to take part in a comprehensive Safety and Management Training Program. Safety training includes Railroad On-Track Worker Safety Certification, 40-hour HAZWOPER, excavation and equipment safety training. First aid and CPR certification as well as Confined Space Entry are among the many other topics covered in this important event. The result is exceptional safety performance, even in hazardous work environments and remote locations.

In a field where accidents can easily happen, Coleman Industrial Construction’s safety record is right at the top of the industry year after year. The company has been cited in the Congressional Record for its safe work record and has not had a lost-time accident in over 20 years.
